Young black girls, Greensboro, Georgia Wall Collection, by Jack Delano

Size

African American photos taken by Jack Delano in 1941 during a time when America was fighting overseas. These stunning portraitures of two young black girls were taken in Greensboro, Georgia. It shows both the hardships and sorrows that were a part of the era. What makes these photos so extraordinary was his use of photo framing - using the mirror and doorway with one woman deep in thought and another performing her daily chores. Both can be purchased separately, but together, they tell a full story.
