Originally operated by the German Transport Company (DELAG), the Zeppelin LZ 11 stood as a remarkable civilian and military rigid airship. Its initial role involved transporting passengers under the DELAG banner. However, with the onset of World War I, the German military acquired the LZ 11 for training purposes.

Sadly, tragedy struck on October 1, 1915, when the LZ 11 met a devastating fate. While being maneuvered into its hangar, the airship was torn apart, marking a heartbreaking end to its journey.
